Neoteric
Commodore 64

Another rush job for a party, rattled out over a very short space of time using the ideas that Odie and T.M.R had been toying with and discussing for a while beforehand. The most underestimated part is the interference one because the colours are interlaced to make new ones where the circles cross; okay, it looks fairly rubbish (especially in an emulator) but the idea was new at the time!

The word neoteric means "recent in origin; modern; new". The word itself was overheard by T.M.R in an episode of the classic television series The Avengers that was on television during the coding.

Trivia: There's a hidden part that displays the full image used in the picture DYCP part, it can be accessed by loading the file "C" - the only one of the data files that that isn't zero blocks long.
