T.M.R's Monthly Demo series has taken something of a sideways step into the world of the Commodore 128 with MD201704. This is our second release for the C128, with the first being a conversion of our own Amstrad CPC demo Snoozing which was released five years prior to this one.
The inspiration for this release was Rabenauge's Elvis Copper which was a 4K intro released at Revision 2017 - T.M.R saw it running on the party's live stream and couldn't figure out why the raster splits were so wide, so took a couple of prototyles and pushed them together to see what would happen. This isn't a 4K intro however, because there's a bitmapped logo and quite a bit of unrolled code for both the colour splits and plotter.
Trivia: the music is a twenty something year old, previously unused conversion of Dozey, a Protracker module originally composed by Jozz which was used in the music pack Synthetic Heaven. |
