Commodore 64

It's the end of February already and time for another dip into the "unused parts" box for something fun to build a Monthly Demo release around. This time it's a DYCP routine with three scrolling messages in motion and "wrapped" around some bars in the centre of the screen. This is based on the final part of the 1990 release Spirited by Spirit but with three scrollers instead of just the one. The two logos were drawn as a single high resolution bitmap, using PAL blending to simulate more colours than the C64's usual sixteen.

Trivia: although this isn't the way to break any of the existing DYCP records, all three scrollers are ORed together and there are some optimisation in play to make them quite efficient. In theory at least, the source code should shed a little more light on what's actually going on.
