 This is the second smallest file on the site and the smallest C64 product; a full-screen chessboard in all four borders and running from just over five hundred bytes. The board is displayed purely by splitting the border colour and can scroll in eight directions at eight pixels a frame.
This is just one of those little routines that T.M.R was experimenting with at the time and, since there was nowhere else it would have fitted in, it was made into a stand-alone onefiler and sent in for the second 2 Blocks competition on the web.
