By this stage, you should have solved the entire First 2 Layers, in such a way that when you come to solve the Last Layer you also have the 4 Last Layer edges correctly oriented.

If the whole of the Last Layer is now correctly Oriented, you have transgressed from a VH System solve into a standard Fridrich (CFOP) solve. All you have to do now is solve the Permutation Case. There are 21 possible Permutations, and you can find them at the Fridrich system Permutation page.

However, it is more likely that you will have arrived at one of the 7 possible OLL cases, which you can find in the table below. The next step is to solve the OLL case, and simultaneously permute the corners (40 cases). This is known as COLL.

How to identify your COLL case

We concentrate on 6 sticker positions: ULD, URD, ULF, URF, FLU, and FRU. Holding the case at the Orientation shown in the diagrams, you will only be able to see 4 corner stickers that are not the same colour as your Last Layer.

The four letters next to each algorithm refer to these four stickers, and their relationships to one another. If you see a Red sticker, in the position which has an "F", then where you see a "B", this sticker would be Orange. "R" and "L" are defined in the same way. With practice it becomes very easy! Honest!
