About Sean

I got my first cube in 1981. Lost all my puzzles during a house move in 1986. Bought a cube again in November 1988 and started working it out on a layer-by-layer system. No books, no internet, just sheer brute-force and I only needed about 6 algorithms for the whole cube which I worked out myself. I first solved the cube in May of 1989. I cubed on and off right up until 2002 when I picked it back up again. I averaged about 2.5 minutes back then.

I now solve with white cross, intuitive F2L and intuitive VH on last F2L pair. Permute LL corners, Orientate LL corners, permute LL edges.

I have hit sub 20 a few times now, but it is very very rare!

I like other twisty puzzles, Magic, Master Magic, Super Master Magic, 2x2x2, 4x4x4, 5x5x5, 6x6x6, 7x7x7, Megaminx. Not so keen on Rubiks Clock, HATE Square-1!!!
